Habitat for Humanity Apostles Build Workdays – Our first ecumenical build

day will be on Saturday, June 14 from 9am - 4pm. The tentative schedule will

be to set roof trusses, sheathing and build a shed. You are invited to work for all

or part of the day. Lunch will be provided.

Our first Geneva workday is on Saturday, July 12 from 9am - 4pm. Scheduled

work for that day is the porch overhang and aluminum clad on fascia. There are

usually other miscellaneous clean-up jobs available too. We have committed to

provide 10 volunteers that day. You may register on line at www.habitatwwc.org

for either or both dates.

We also need volunteers to provide lunch for the work crew on July 12. All lunch

volunteers will be put in contact with each other for planning. Lunch can be as

simple as brown bag lunches or a hot lunch – sloppy Joes, pizza, etc. The

volunteers really appreciate it when they don’t have to leave the build site for lunch.

The build site is located at 26110 Dunning St., Inkster, MI 48141, which is south of

Michigan Ave. and east of John Daly.
